***CHRISTMAS PLAY – We will have our Christmas play on Sunday, December 2 at 6:30 p.m. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. We have many non-speaking parts, but we will need to know ahead of time how many costumes we need to plan for, so please ask your child and then sign them up! We would love to have tons of participation. This play will not require a lot of rehearsal time. We will practice on Wednesday, Nov. 15 and Wednesday November 29 at 6:00 p.m.  We will also stay after worship on December 2 to have a final rehearsal after worship. Bring lunch that day.
We will have an ice cream socialfollowing the play. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for donations of ice cream.
**Christmas Cantata  -    Our Worship Team will present the Christmas Cantataon Sunday, December 9 during our 11:00 worship hour. We hope you will make plans to be here and invite your family and friends.

**Budget Request Forms  --  Budget request forms are available on the table in the hallway. Each committee should get one and have each committee member sign off on it, and then return the form to Darlene TODAY!
Veterans, Bethel Church appreciates you!  We appreciate your service for our country. There are no words that would adequately thank you. There is a ‘goody’ basket at the front of the church, please take a gift out of it as you leave today as a token of our appreciation for you!

**Thanksgiving Celebration – We will hold our annual Thanksgiving Celebration on Wednesday, November 21 beginning with our Thanksgiving fellowship meal at 6:00 , followed by a Thanksgiving service at 7:00. We invite you to bring your family and friends.
Each member is asked to bring a side item & a dessert (the church is providing the turkey, dressing and gravy).

Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes  --
We will be collecting shoe boxes to send to Operation Christmas Child.
Shoe boxes will be due no later than Sunday,
November 18. All boxes are to include a $9 donation to cover shipping. You can also pay online and print your own shipping label and follow your shoebox if you like.
Things that cannot be included in the boxes are:
Candy; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powdered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.
Shoe boxes are in the hallway along with all the information you need to pack a great box!! Also, please take a book mark that has daily prayers on the back and help yourself to as many stickers as you like. Each box needs to have an envelop on it when you bring it back. The envelopes and instruction are also on the table.
We have a goal of 50 BOXES!!!!  Pastor Greg has been challenged.  If we collect 50 boxes, he will wear his chicken costume to worship!!!
