Elexus Dejarnette – Graduate of Halifax County High School – Will attend DCC in the fall.

Evan Irby – Graduate of Halifax County High School –Certified in Welding -  Will attend SVCC in the fall to pursue a degree in fire science technology to become a career firefighter.

Scott Nester  - Graduate of Halifax County High School – Certified in Welding – Will attend DCC in the fall.

Nick Thompson – Graduate of Halifax County High School – Will attend DCC in the fall.

Meagan Thompson – Graduate of JMU – Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology – Will be working for the Center for Pediatric Therapies in Lynchburg as a speech therapist in their private practice and at the Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center.

Wendy Thompson – Graduate of JMU – Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Employed at Halifax Regional Hospital in Endoscopy and Outpatient.
**New Sunday School Class – Pastor Greg is teaching a six- week class called “I Am a Church Member”. The class meets in the Heritage Room. This class is for youth and adults who want to learn more about the privileges and responsibilities of church membership.
